October 2024:

The Royal Horticultural Society with Emilios Theodosiou are working hard preparing to raise Hiroshima tree seeds and saplings from GLH. They plan to create displays in their U.K. gardens for 2045 to commemorate 100 years since the atomic bombings. The Ginkgo saplings pictured—donated by Aberdeen City Council and originally from GLH—were delivered to Herons Bonsai, who have a long-standing partnership with RHS. They’ll nurture the saplings into Bonsai to be displayed alongside their full-sized brethren trees.
